Another BBQ Success

The Rotary Club of Big Bear Lake also hosts the annual BBQ on July 4th at the Marina Resort, which has a very special viewing area for the fireworks show at lake side.  The BBQ was again a sellout, with over 1200 tickets sold for the BBQ and viewing area.  Tickets prices varied from $20 for view only tickets to $100 for special VIP tickets with a served meal, dessert, drink tickets and a private viewing area.  All other tickets also included meals provided by either the Barnstorm Restaurant or Nottingham’s.  The Rotary Club also provided beverages once again at its well known Hydration Station.  Preliminary estimates indicate that the BBQ and Hydration Station earned the Club approximately $20,000 which will be used during the year for Rotary’s various charities.  The BBQ is one of the Club’s major fundraisers and is always an enjoyable event for those participating.
