A records check revealed Brett had two outstanding misdemeanor warrants for prior traffic violations. The Deputies located a vehicle engine in the front yard of the residence that was determined to be stolen.  Also, they found Brett to be in possession of a stolen vehicle. Brett was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Big Bear Jail on felony charges of possession of stolen property including a stolen vehicle, and maintaining a chop shop. Suspect Brandon Brett remains in custody in lieu of $75,000 bail. An arraignment hearing in this matter is set for Friday April 3 in San Bernardino County Superior Court.

Sheriff Deputies continue the search for parolee at large Robert Trionfi. Trionfi is currently on Post Release Community Supervision and has an active felony warrant in the amount of $250,000 issued against him for assault with a weapon. He is known to travel between the Big Bear Valley and Lucerne Valley areas. Robert Trionfi is a 34-year-old Hispanic male, 5’10” tall, 200 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes. Once arrested, Trionfi will remain in jail without the possibility of bail and will be held to answer in court on the felony charge of assault.
