Early Tuesday April 28, 2015, the letter below
was released to the press. Future notices regarding the decisions of Kurt
Madden Superintendent of Schools and Walter Con, Assistant Superintendent of
Business Services, will be updated when the information is made available.
Dear Bear Valley Unified School District
Employees and Community Members:
During this upcoming week, the Board of Trustees
from two different school districts will be conducting community
visitations.
Mr. Walter Con, Assistant Superintendent of Business
Services, is being considered for a position in the Orcutt Union School
District. Additionally, I am being
considered for a position in the Bonita Unified School District.
Board Members from each of these school
districts will be holding brief interviews with a variety of staff members,
parents and community members as part of the vetting process. During their
visits on Wednesday and Thursday, everything will be done to minimize
interruptions with employee work schedules
Both Walter Con and I would like to thank you in
advance for support and understanding regarding these upcoming community
visitations. In addition, updates will
be provided if an official decision is made relative to our employment status.
Sincerely submitted,
Kurt Madden
Superintendent of Schools
