The EAGLES World’s Greatest Tribute Band

FRIDAY June 27th There are a Few Tickets left for

Saturday at Music in the Mountains

The Long Run, returns to the Big Bear Discovery Center Amphitheater on Saturday, June 28, 2014.  Co-headlining with The Long Run to open the 2014 season of Music in the Mountains for a one-night, one-stage performance, will be Kenny Cetera’s Chicago Experience; making their debut appearance in the Big Bear Valley and the San Bernardino Mountains; Gates open at 5:00 P.M.; the magic starts at 6:00 P.M.

Voted internationally by their fans as World’s Greatest, The Long Run performed in January at the Whiskey on the Sunset Strip before a live audience on the AXS Cable Station, “World’s Greatest Tribute Bands”, featuring the kings of classic rock tribute music.  The Long Run Experience The Eagles show was celebrated as one of the highest-rated performances in AXS network history.   Visit

“We love our fans and love bringing the ‘Experience' to Big Bear Valley!” shared Gary Grantham, co-founder of The Long Run and voice of legendary Glen Frey.  “Being honored the ‘World’s Greatest’ was a huge milestone for us and an affirmation from our fans who have supported the band since our debut in 1999.  We’re thrilled but at the same time, running hard from coast-to-coast weather it’s a live performance or expressing our gratitude to fans over the internet.” he added.

“Since our inception, we adopted Glen Frey’s ‘circle of fear’ to place an intense focus on the lush harmony, verve and lyrical incisiveness for which The Eagles are legendary.  We constantly police our harmony on stage through an investment of high-end in-ear monitors, at rehearsals and; most importantly, we gather in a circle locked arm-in-arm for that last harmony check before we face our fans,” Grantham added, “Feels so good when it’s so right!”

Case in point, the Centennial Civic Park Amphitheater located outside of Denver recently hired The Long Run, Experience the Eagles, to christen their new 1.5M facility instead of booking, The Long Run of Colorado; a local tribute band that would have cost the event a fraction to produce and host.

What’s next?  The Long Run, Experience the Eagles will debut its “Dark Desert Highway” show at the Candlelight Pavilion in Claremont, California this fall.  The show will feature a multi-media theatrical production delivering the signature hits of The Eagles along with some deeper cuts while breaking that ‘4th wall’.  Designed for indoor theatre, The Long Run will showcase their new production as something new, exciting and their own affirmation of love for their fans.  Clearly, it’s the next step for concerts with The Long Run running with the lead.  For more information, check their web site

All parking at the Discovery Center will be pre-paid through ticket packages.  Parking gates will open at 5:00 P.M. all shows.  General admission parking is free and available at Meadows Edge Trailhead located ¼ mile west of the Discovery Center entrance.  Free shuttles will run from 5:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M.   Complimentary handicap parking will be available on a first-come basis at the Discovery Center with appropriate tag or license plate as available.
