E T Russell ___ Ask anyone to recall where they were when President Kennedy was assassinated or even more recent recall 9-11. Now, we have another surreal incident, that struck right in the heart of San Bernardino County; our County where we live, work and play.

I was at the Rotary of Big Bear Lake Holiday Luncheon Wednesday noon, where approximately three-hundred plus men and women were engaged in the Holiday joyful event. Unsuspecting of any negative or act of cruelty actually that happened a few minutes before 11:00 A.M. at the Inland Regional Center in the City of San Bernardino, ironically we spoke of love for our friends and neighbors and joyously said a good-bye with a ‘Merry Christmas’.

For years to come, whether near the Incident site in San Bernardino, Big Bear Valley, Texas, or in another state, the Terrorism of San Bernardino will be in our memories.
