Guest Supervisor James Ramos
A special Give Big San Bernardino Campaign presentation
will be at Starbucks Tuesday January 19th at 2:30 P.M., to the local
American
Association of University Women (AAUW).
San Bernadino County Supervisor of the Third District James Ramos will be
presenting AAUW with a $2,500 check. Ramos had personally pledged to give to
the nonprofit organization in the San Bernadino County Third District, that had
the largest number of unique donations totaled and collected as of December 1,
2015.
The
AAUW Gals worked diligently on their
2015 project; therefore, the group gratefully took First Place in San Bernadino
County with 448 donations (2nd place was Lighthouse with 192)!
Currently,
AAUW is raising funds for the local Tech Trek program. The funds will play a
big part to sending the Big Bear Middle School Girls to STEM Camp at U. C. San
Diego in Summer 2016.

The Interlaken Starbucks is hosting the
Tuesday event; as they did for the past two years. The popular venue provided the
team with a table in the facility, on the final Give Big San Bernardino Day
to promote fundraising.
This year Starbucks Manager, Joshua Pierce, offered
to give anyone who made a donation of $10 or more would be treated to a free
cup of coffee or tea! American Association of University Women
appreciates Starbucks’ hospitality and credits them for their assistance and
successful Give Big San Bernardino results.

is located in Big Bear Lake, at 42140 Big Bear Blvd #100, next door to the U S
