3rd Annual SWEETHEART Ball

Valentine’s Day is a joyous occasion for sweethearts to share their romantic love for special someone.  What better way to spend an evening enjoying fine dining excellent wine, dancing to live music at the Sweetheart Ball, Sunday February 14th.  The Big Bear Lake Rotary Club Foundation is hosting the third-annual Valentine’s event, that will have a variety of activities, such silent and live auctions of fine and unusual items.  

Bear Valley Community Hospital can use our help. Net proceeds from the Sweetheart Ball will be donated to the Bear Valley Community Hospital, to continue the updating and refurbishment of hospital patient rooms.  The 2015 Sweetheart Ball raised more than $30,000 that helped finance the renovation of rooms in the Rotary Wing. This year’s special emphasis will be to update the Patient Isolation Room; it’s specific purpose is to be for patients with infectious diseases.

The Big Bear Lake Rotary Club Foundation is a 501c3 charitable foundation, of which all donations are tax deductible. The Foundation’s mission is to raise funds for worthy community causes. Sponsorships for the event and donations of both live and silent auction items are needed.

The Sweetheart Ball will be at The LODGE At BIG BEAR LAKE (formally Northwoods Resort) Ballroom, Sunday February 14th. The no-host bar will begin with cocktails at 5:00 P.M.; with Dinner to be served at 6:00 P.M.  Come and enjoy the Valentine’s evening and dance to the great music of Mark Dolan’s White Water Band.

The Sweetheart Ball Tickets ($55.00 per person) are limited to 180 only, so the ballroom will be comfortable for all in attendance. For more information or to reserve your tickets, please contact:
