Asphalt Resurfacing ADA Ramp Project  

 

SAN BERNARDINO— The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will begin a project to upgrade ADA ramps and replace asphalt surfacing in Victorville along State Route 18 (SR-18/Palmdale Rd) from Interstate 15 (I-15) to State Route 395 (SR-395).

The $3.9 million project will begin September 20. The contractor is Matich Corporation of San Bernardino, California.

The first phase of the project will upgrade ADA ramps. The second phase of the project will replace the asphalt surface and is estimated to begin in mid-fall. The work hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.

More details will follow closer to the start of the asphalt resurfacing phase. The project is estimated to be complete by the end of 2017, weather permitting.
