The Rotary Club of Big Bear Lake announces its 26th annual Senior Citizens Holiday Dinner to be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Pine Summit Conference Center (Salvation Army) in Big Bear Lake.

FREE tickets are available at the Big Bear Senior Center, but seniors are advised that they must pick up tickets in person, as no telephone reservations are available.  Seniors are also advised to request only the number of tickets that they need, so that all those who want to attend will be able to get tickets.  Each person who attends will need to have a ticket.  Approximately 450 tickets are available this year.  Tickets should be available at the Senior Center after November 1, 2014.

This event has become a Holiday tradition in Big Bear Valley over the years.  Every year, the Rotary Club provides this free, fun event for the local senior citizens. Dinner will be a full course turkey dinner complete with pumpkin pie for dessert.  The staff at Pine Summit will serve the dinner this year, instead of the usual buffet.  Rotarians and their spouses donate their time to help decorate, host, serve beverages, and clean up.

Entertainment will be provided by Elementary School Choirs from the Bear Valley Unified School District.  Special gifts, provided by local Rotarians, will be raffled to the participating Seniors.  A visit from Santa will highlight the event.  The event starts at 11 AM and should conclude around 1:00 P.M..  Dress is casual in the Holiday spirit.  Free shuttle service from the parking lots is provided to the banquet hall.

All Seniors in the Big Bear Valley are invited to attend.  Don’t forget to pick up your tickets at the Senior Center, as attendance is limited.  For More information, contact Rotary Club Past President Rich Collier at (909) 725-1326.
