DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE  Investigation

San Bernardino County Sheriff Deputies of the Big Bear Lake Department responded to the report of a domestic disturbance with shots fired in Sugarloaf, California, Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at approximately 11:19 P.M.   

 

Upon their arrival, the Sheriff Deputies located the victim, Kyle McWilliams, suffering from gunshot wounds. Big Bear Fire Emergency Personnel responded to the location and transported McWilliams to Bear Valley Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. 

 

San Bernardino County Sheriff Homicide Investigators responded to the Sugarloaf location, to conduct the investigation. Investigators have determined that the victim, Kyle McWilliams, is the estranged husband of the suspect, Jennifer Munoz.

Also, the Investigators determined McWilliams went to Munoz’ residence and forced entry into her home. A physical altercation occurred, which included the struggle for a handgun, and McWilliams was shot.
