Near Beaumont in Riverside County a vegetation fire broke out about 1:33 P.M. Saturday  September 02, 2017.  Immediate fire fighting personnel responded from numerous agencies that included: Beaumont Fire Department and Aircraft, CalFire, U.S. Forest Service Fire, San Bernardino County Fire Department. 


 Cause: Human Caused – Fireworks

Update 09/05/2017 7:00 a.m.: The fire is 3,874 acres and 90% contained.

 

Update 09/04/2017 5:30 p.m.: The fire is 3,874 acres and 80% contained.

 

Update 09/04/2017 8:30 a.m.: The fire remains 3,800 acres and is now 50% contained.

 

Update 09/03/2017 6:30 p.m.: The fire is now 3,800 acres and 35% contained. The acreage has changed due to updated mapping.

 

Update 09/03/2017 4:00 p.m.: ALL evacuations are lifted and ALL roads are now open.

 

CORRECTION 09/03/2017 3:20 p.m.: ALL evacuations on Live Oak Road have been lifted. Evacuations on San Timoteo Canyon Road remain in place.
