Dorothy’s Ruby Red Slippers
Wednesday April 22, at the Women’s Connection luncheon, diners
will have an opportunity to go back in time to the Wizard of Oz in Ruby
Red Slippers with the guest speaker, Arlana
Holland. Held at the
Northwoods Resort, the monthly luncheon-meeting begins at 11:30 A.M.
Arlana Holland is President and Founder of Fountains of
Grace Ministries and is also the President and CEO of Ruby Red Slippers, Inc.
She speaks three languages and has traveled all over the world. Holland has
founded many businesses, including a non-profit organization that ministered to
children through the use of horses. Holland has spoken in an array of venues as
both a keynote and motivational speaker.
Holland will tell how she identifies her life with that
of Dorothy, who was lost in the Kingdom of Oz and just wanted to go home.
A special feature will be presented by Crystal Worsman,
chemist at Dream Light Designs, a Big Bear business which provides natural bath
and beauty products. The Northwoods Resort
is located in the Village of Big Bear Lake at 40650 Village Drive. Cost
is $18.00 per person and reservations are required. All first-time guests receive a
