Thursday May 11th evening, San Bernardino County Fire Rescue Units from Stations 98 and 99 responded to a 9-1-1 report of a rider on horse-back accidentally falling 300 feet over the side of the Santa Ana River Trail, in the Angelus Oaks area.

San Bernardino County Sheriff Deputies, San Bernardino County Fire - Big Bear Fire Rescue Medic Ambulance #282, and San Bernardino County Fire Rancho Cucamonga Fire Urban Search & Rescue Team responded as well.  San Bernardino County Sheriff Helicopter Air Rescue #06 and California Highway Patrol Airship #H-80 also assisted in the rescue.
