Early Morning Fire in Big Bear Lake

Monday
February 7, 2022__ A residential structure fire was reported to be located in Big
Bear Lake, in the early Monday morning hours, at approximately 3:17 A.M.
Upon
arrival at the 40000 block of Big Bear Boulevard, Big Bear Fire Crews observed
a well involved residential structure with smoke and flames showing. The fire
fighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire within approximately 20
minutes. There were no occupants home at the time of the structure.
The
structure fire required all units from the Big Bear Fire Department to respond
with assistance from San Bernardino County Sheriff/Big Bear Station and
Caltrans District #8, due to hard closure of Big Bear Boulevard. Big Bear Fire Battalion
Chief Luke Wagner was on-scene and in command of the response.
Cause
of the fire is under investigation by Big Bear Fire Department.
