Big Bear Lake Residence Shed
Avoids Further Spread of Fire
Big
Bear Lake, CA__ June 29, 2022 __
Big
Bear Fire Department
responded to a reported structure fire Wednesday at 6:30 A.M. in Big Bear Lake,
in the 400 block of Jeffries Road. Upon arrival, Fire Crews discovered a shed
at the residence was well involved in the fire, with flames spreading to nearby
Pine trees.
Fire
personnel quickly contained the fire, which was extinguished within approximately
six minutes.
Big
Bear Fire Crews
remained on scene for mop up efforts to ensure no re-ignition would occur. The
fire caused heavy damage to the shed. No civilians or firefighters were injured
in the fire.
A
total of 9 firefighters responded, staffing 1 engine, 1 ladder truck, and 1
ambulance. Big Bear Fire Battalion Chief Dan Rogers was on scene and in
command of the response. The cause of the fire is under investigation by Big
Bear Fire Department.
