& Whine Night

Calling All Women!
The
Big Bear Valley branch of AAUW
(American Association of University Women) and the Le Dolce Vita Tasting Room are teaming up to host a special event
Friday evening April 17th. The
public is invited to join friends for the Whine & Wine
that begins at 4:30 P.M. until closing.
The
Whine & Wine special offer t0 women and
guests is a $.16 discount per beverage dollar spent, in recognition of the 16%
wage gap between men and women in California.
Timing
of the evening coincides with Equal Pay Day, which brings awareness of the wage
gap between men and women. This year, Equal Pay Day was observed on April 14th,
a day symbolizing how far into 2015 women must work to earn the same as men
earned in 2014. AAUW is committed to closing this gap with public awareness and
support of legislative action.
