Fatal Collision

April 25, 2019 near Rim Forest, California, at approximately 12:53 P.M., an Arrowhead
Regional Headquarters California Highway Patrol Officer responded to a fatal
traffic collision that occurred on State Route 18. The Highway Patrolman was
responding with the patrol vehicle’s emergency lights and siren activated,

vehicle, and subsequently traversed a dirt embankment. The CHP vehicle came to
rest on the right shoulder of State Route 18.
The
Highway Patrol Officer was transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center
with minor injuries. The driver of the Chevrolet did not sustain any injuries
as a result of the collision.
