SB County Victor Valley Sheriff Deputies responded Tuesday morning, February 26, 2019, to a report of a possible deceased victim located off the roadway and down an embankment. At approximately 10:02 A.M., the Deputies arrived to the area of Lone Pine Canyon Road East of State Route 138, were they confirmed the victim was a deceased female.



San Bernardino County Sheriff Detectives - Specialized Investigations Division responded and currently are conducting a death investigation.   



An autopsy by the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.  Positive identification of the victim is pending.  The investigation is ongoing, additional information will be released as it becomes available.
