In His Memory…..
‘Nick’ Nicholas Madison Newsome passed away April 23, 2015, in New
Orleans, Louisiana; where he was stationed in the United States Army. Nick is
the son of Jeff and Kathleen Newsome and brother to Jackie and Jeanie of Big
Bear City. Nick attended school in Big Bear Valley and graduated from Bear
Valley High School.
A graveside ceremony for Nicholas Newsome Monday May 11, 2015 will be at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, California. The
ceremony will begin at 1:30 P.M. All are welcome to a reception at the
Mission Inn in Riverside.
In lieu of flowers the Newsome Family appreciates donations be made to Nick's
preferred organizations.
The United States Army Orleans Battalion and Tulane University arranged
for a Scholarship Fund. Another is the Leadership Award in the name of Nicholas
Madison Newsome; to commemorate Nick’s passion and dedication to both the U.S.
Army ROTC Orleans Battalion and Tulane University community.
