Big Bear Lake Seeks
PLANNING
COMMISSIONER
Big
Bear Lake, CA ___ The City Council of the City of Big Bear Lake is seeking
qualified citizens who are interested in serving on the City’s Planning
Commission. The Planning Commission has one (1) vacancy for a four (4) year
term ending June 30, 2023.
The
Planning Commission meets the first and third Wednesday of each month at 1:15 P.M.,
in Hofert Hall at the Big Bear Lake Civic Center. A Commissioner’s responsibilities
consist of decisions related to land use issues including the General Plan,
zoning, development and environmental ordinances. There will also be numerous
opportunities to provide valuable input and direction to City planning staff
regarding many exciting proposed projects such as the development of the
Moonridge Corridor.

are available at the City Clerk’s office located at 39707 Big Bear Boulevard,
Big Bear Lake, or at www.citybigbearlake.com
The City Council will interview
prospective candidates. All applicants must be full-time residents and a
registered voter in the City of Big Bear Lake.
The
deadline to submit an application is Friday, July 5, 2019, at 5:00 P.M.
