A big pattern change will occur this weekend as a cold low
pressure system from the north will bring much cooler weather starting Saturday and a good chance of
showers and thunderstorms Sunday-Tuesday (May 7-9). Snow will be also possible in the mountains Sunday-Tuesday, mainly above
5500 feet.

Rain could be locally
heavy, with slippery road conditions likely at times.
Thunderstorms could
cause dangerous lightning anytime from Sunday through Tuesday. Hail will also be possible with
thunderstorms.
Snow could accumulate in
the mountains above 5500 feet (especially above 6500 feet).
