CLOSED as of 3:15 pm Friday – Chains Required – R2

State Route 18 (Big Bear City to Lucerne Valley)
OPEN – Chains Required - R2

State Route 18 (Big Bear Lake to Running Springs)
OPEN – Chains Required – R2

Highways in the Big Bear Valley
OPEN – Chains Required – R2

Highway 330 (Running Springs to Highland)
OPEN- Chains Required - R2

  

Chain Control Condition:

  • = Chains are required on all commerical vehicles (trucks or buses). All other vehicles(cars,pick-ups,vans,etc.) must have either snow thread tires or chains on the drive axis.
  • = Chains are required on all vehicles except four-wheel drive with snow thread tires. Four-wheel drive vehicles must carry chains in the vehicle.
  •  = Chains required -ALL
